Renovations Technician - Colorado Springs, CO

Our multi-family community, The Oasis, currently has a full-time Renovations Technician opportunity available.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and/or assist with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties as required.
• Keep Project Managers abreast of renovation project progress by providing regular updates.
• Perform and/or assist with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and minor A/C and electrical repairs.
• Install new appliances, electrical fixtures, cabinetry, etc.
• Move appliances, furniture, cabinetry, etc., with assistance.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Project Managers (or other personnel acting in a supervisory capacity). 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• General understanding of light repair on electric, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs., and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 lbs. 
• Ability push and pull appliance dolly up to 200 lbs., move objects from one floor to another
• Ability to bend/stoop, climb stairs, kneels, balance, reach above shoulder height, walk and twist, have a reliable vision, hearing and speech with or without corrective devices such as glasses, hearing aid, etc.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
