What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full-Time position at Independence Rehab?
Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role you will float between our skilled nursing facilities in Scottsbluff, Bayard, Mitchell, and Kimball. You'll remain on the clock when traveling between facilities.
We offer super flexible hours and days worked. Normal work schedule is Monday-Friday, but if you need a day off during the week, you are welcome to schedule to work a weekend day.
Here are a few SNF practice-specific items:
- Occasionally treating clinically complex patients
- Proficient with all types of transfers
- Provide mobility re-training

Requirements:
- Current Nebraska PTA license in good standing
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university
- Organized, self-starter with a love for the geriatric population
Our preference is a therapist who has worked for at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
