Shift Supervisor

Schedule: Week 1: Monday-Friday 12:30PM-9PM, Week 2: Monday-Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 12:30PM-9PM, Week 3: Tuesday-Friday 12:30PM-9PM. This position included rotating holidays.
Job Description
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned shift and ensuring proper integration and monitoring of the resident's active treatment program as developed by the interdisciplinary team. This job directs the work and provides supervision and leadership of scheduled Personal Assistants through the mentoring and development of cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities
Complete and document all shift responsibilities as outlined in the daily checklist.
Implement safety and emergency procedures, including fire safety, disaster plans, and equipment maintenance.
Assess staff performance on quality care and provide guidance.
Address staff concerns and provide supervision and training.
Direct and evaluate Personal Assistants' work, providing necessary feedback.
Resolve staff issues and maintain positive relations, escalating concerns as needed.
Review and approve incident reports for Personal Assistants.
Assist Department Supervisors And Perform Additional Duties As Required.
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Attend training and professional development opportunities.
Communicate with families as needed.
Respond to resident, staff, and visitor emergencies.
Handle property emergencies in the absence of the Facilities Director.
Document and address incidents, initiating follow-up as necessary.
Schedule staff to ensure services are provided and shifts are covered.
Complete service documentation using approved methods.
Qualifications
Required:
Free from convictions or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
Ability to lift 35 lbs. required.
Valid Drivers License
Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field is preferred, an Associate of Arts degree with one-year experience in a direct care setting will be considered, or a minimum of one-year supervisory experience demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of two years' experience in a direct care facility
Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check, dependernt adult and child abuse background check, and drug screen.
