Position Summary
Primary purposes of this position: Administration, organization of the individuals’ home(s), provide support and leadership to frontline staff, and to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of the individuals and staff.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ frontline experience working specifically with individuals with disabilities.
- Applicants with previous supervisory experience/education will be strongly considered.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field is considered to be a strong asset (education must be in a relevant human services field i.e.: Social Work, Rehabilitation Practitioner, Psychology, Human Services Administration, Nursing).
- Leadership in implementing CET standards.
- Competent computer skills for email, Microsoft Word/Excel and research on the internet.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work with people, as well as to show initiative and be an active member of the individual's support network.
- Ability to manage up to two or three teams.
- Clear and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid Driver's license, proof of two million dollar liability and Class 7 (Business Coverage) insurance.
- Reliable vehicle for completing work-related duties as required.

Hours and schedule: Full-time hours. Schedule varies based on current vacancies. The position includes weekend On Call rotation duties and a minimum of one evening shift per week; may also include weekend shifts.
