Role Overview
The Fire Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling fire products to a diverse clientele, including commercial, industrial, and retail prospects. This role is well-suited for an experienced outside sales representative, and we offer comprehensive training on our products and services. The key responsibilities will include cultivating robust client relationships, staying abreast of industry trends, and successfully achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fire safety solutions market.
- Working with General Contractors and Electrical Contractors on new construction projects and bids.
- Develop new General Contractors & Electrical Contractor clients.
- Participate in industry associations, with the mindset up developing new relationships/clients.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' fire safety needs.
- Present customized fire safety solutions to clients.
- Utilize bid software to identify new opportunities.
- Hold NICET certification, or become NICET 2 certified.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in fire safety.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting and closing strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall organizational goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Prefer experienced outside Security Sales Rep experience but will train the right person if they possess sales skills
- Industry experience preferred
- Fire Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
