What We Are Looking For
This position will assist a music touring agent in contemporary/pop and hip-hop. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, be forward-thinking, bring ideas, and have a desire to learn and grow within the department. The ability to multi-task is essential, as the position requires managing calendars, call logs, and bookings, as well as overseeing the execution of deals and invoicing for payments.
Skills And Qualifications
• Generating deal memos, itineraries, reports
• Keeping track of ticket counts, contracts, deposits
• Invoicing and accounting
• Handling phones, managing calendars
• Dealing with high profile buyers, promoters and managers while understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
Education And Experience
• 1-2 years of professional experience working in the music industry preferred
• Experience at an agency is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Resourceful, proactive, reliable, trustworthy
• Proficient with word, excel, and outlook
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
