Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Plant Engineer at Independent Chemical Corporation in Paterson, NJ. The Plant Engineer will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and plant safety, coordinating plant maintenance, and writing / updating SOPs. They will also collaborate with various departments to improve overall operational performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in chemical production / warehousing / Hazardous Materials storage & handling
- Experience in regulatory systems implementation and management
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in inventory management and supply chain operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and operational software
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
