Diesel Mechanic

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems for our school bus fleet.

Responsibilities

 Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose problems, and repair diesel engines and associated systems.

 Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

 Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues with precision.

 Maintain detailed and accurate service and repair records.

 Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

 Collaborate with team members to meet operational deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

 Minimum of 6 years of proven experience as a diesel mechanic.

 Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is highly preferred (ASE certification is a significant plus).

 Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.

 Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.

 Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

 Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
