Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operating Model Lead to oversee the development and optimization of policies, processes, and workflows for a system implementation for a California-based Sports & Entertainment client. This individual will be responsible for designing and refining the as-is and to-be processes, ensuring alignment with business goals, and integrating these processes with the new P2P system. Additionally, they will play a key role in building a future-state organization design, ensuring that the new P2P operating model supports organizational growth and efficiency. The role also involves developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users to ensure a seamless transition to the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design & Optimization: Lead the development of P2P and Source-to-Contract (S2C) operating model, including mapping as-is and future state processes.
- Future-State Organization Design: Build a future-state organization design for the P2P function that aligns with the new system, incorporating best practices, scalability, and efficiency to support the organization's long-term goals.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies for the P2P/S2C lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, best practices, and system functionality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to ensure the new system and processes align with business needs and are well-supported across the organization.
- System Integration: Ensure that P2P/S2C processes are effectively integrated into the new system, providing insights into process improvements and leveraging system capabilities for efficiency.
- User Training: Design training programs and materials to support end-users in adopting the new P2P/S2C system and conduct training sessions pre-and post-go-live
- Change Management: Help teams transition smoothly from current processes to the new model, while addressing any resistance and promoting system adoption.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Contract process design and organization development, preferably within large-scale system implementations.
- Proven experience in P2P/S2C system implementations and understanding of relevant ERP and SaaS solutions (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa).
- Strong knowledge of procurement/AP policies and best practices, with the ability to tailor them to the organization’s needs.
- Experience in future-state organization design for procurement and P2P functions.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to lead training sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with change management strategies to drive user adoption and process transformation.
- Experience in professional Sports & Entertainment industry a plus.
- Local candidate (LA/OC/SD) strongly preferred. Must be willing to work on-site in Anaheim 4 days/week.
Hourly rate reflects rate for independent contractor/1099. Consulting firms may also apply.
