Job Title: Art Mentor
Pay Rate: $40 per hour
Hours: 12-15 hours per month
Location: Near Elk Grove, CA
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate Art Mentor who loves creating, discussing, and exploring art—especially sculpture. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and encouragement to an individual looking to deepen their artistic journey, connect with other artists, and explore local art resources.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in discussions about art and sculpture techniques.
- Assist in creating and refining sculpture projects. (preferred but not required).
- Research and recommend additional sculpting classes in the community.
- Accompany or assist in enrolling in private art classes.
- Share knowledge of local museums, galleries, and artist showcases.
- Support networking with other artists and peers in the art community.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for art, particularly sculpture.
- Knowledge of local art resources, including museums and classes.
- Friendly, encouraging, and patient with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or guiding others in the arts (preferred but not required).
- Valid Drivers License, must have own vehicle to transporting and Valid car insurance.
