Overview
The Document Processing Clerk will support all administrative and clerical functionality as it relates to FSA / HRA / HAS, Enrollment (Reimbursement, ECI, COBRA) and Unique Benefits claims operations.
They will ensure all incoming / outgoing mail and faxes, scanned images, claims and substantiation documents, returned checks and any miscellaneous correspondence are available and prepared for processing and / or adjudication as required to meet department standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through.
- Proficiency with PC and web navigational skills.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Essential Accountabilities
A. Clerical
- Manage the intake and processing of all mailed, faxed and scanned correspondence, including claims and various forms of returned mail within the department.
- Execute outbound mail tasks, including sending blank documents, previously returned mail, daily claims -related documents and other required materials, ensuring performance meets or exceeds departmental standards.
- Coordinate incoming service requests, file incoming correspondences into workflow queues and related member folders.
- Perform professionally worded outreach and continued communication to clients for reimbursement check traces while updating the tracking log.
- Maintain the returned checks log while disseminating the information to the proper recipients.
- Oversight and maintenance of the Document Triage processes as well as tracking in order to exceed departmental service level goals.
- Production of reporting each business day to show inventory and dissemination of any images that need attention to the appropriate recipients.
- Maintenance of all e-mail correspondences between Servicing and Document Processing. All replies must occur within 1-3 business days of receipt.
- Workflow queue development, if applicable.
- Oversee the recovery process, including maintaining and updating the tracking report to ensure accurate and timely documentation of all recovery activities.
B. Document Preparation
Assist in the preparation of claims and other pertinent documents in support of the claims adjudication, substantiation and any back-end scanning processes.

Hiring Compensation Range : $17.75 hourly
Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.
In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off.
The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
