What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/PCA position at Independent Home Care?
We are looking for the right person to join our small team of dedicated caregivers in the Jaffrey area and surrounding towns. We provide care to people living independently who need care to maintain living at home. Personal care is required for most clients. Staff follow a service plan for each client they work with.
Background in caregiving is strongly considered but training is available for the right person. Hours vary and locations vary, it's more about trying to match staff and clients to each other to find the right fit. Current hours we are hiring for are 11-4 Friday, Saturday, some hours on Sunday. Then we can build onto your schedule with other shifts that are available that fit what you are looking for.
Paid time off accrued based on hours worked. Pay is weekly. Once trained in a home you work independently but always have support of other team members and often family members.
We look to hire local people to provide care to local people, a neighbors taking care of neighbors approach. Could be a great second job, or the right fit for a semi retired person, or college student. Must be 18 and have a clean drivers license. Background checks are completed prior to hire. We offer pay differential for weekend shifts and one hour shifts.
