PCA/Caregiver

We are a small, but growing, home care agency located in Jaffrey, NH and serving surrounding towns. Looking to add to our team of dedicated staff. Hours vary and pay is base rate plus differentials for one hour shifts and weekend shifts. We work to match you to clients needs as well as hours. Training is provided but having a history of providing caregiving is helpful.

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of client rights and experience in personal care homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients while promoting their independence.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support residents in daily living activities while respecting their dignity and privacy.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized living space.
• Skills
• Experience or training in dementia care and memory care techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the quality of life
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and care procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
