Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
As a Home Health Aide, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with cooking as needed.
- Reminding clients to take medications according to prescribed schedules
- Supporting clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function and daily living skills.
- Laundering clothing and linens to maintain a clean environment for clients.
- Maintaining accurate ADL documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Assisting clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments or social activities.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and techniques for working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and catheter care procedures is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to maintaining client dignity and respect while providing compassionate care.
