What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Aide position at Independent Living, Inc.?

At the present time, we are looking for experienced individuals to fill the role of Direct Care Aides. The right candidates will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. If you have prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position. If you are just beginning in this field we offer paid training to help you achieve your best. We have positions that are evening, overnight and weekends for you to choose from.
Requirements for our awesome candidates:
Must have a passion and desire to help others, be 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year verifiable experience in the field, be able complete digital and written documentation, be able to drive and maintain insurance and registration, have a personal cell phone, be able to pass drug screen and all background checks.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
