About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Florida Health Care Connections (FX) Coordination Manager to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is modernizing its approach to overall Agency functions in order to build better connections to relevant data sources and programs and improve health care options and outcomes. As the FX Coordination Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of all IT projects within the organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in IT project management or coordination
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in the Health Care Services industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies
- Experience with cloud computing technologies
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination and implementation of all FX-related projects within the organization
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all FX-related projects are completed, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, including AHCA
- Manage multiple FX-related projects and ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures regarding FX-related projects to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data and systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging initiatives and technologies promoted by AHCA and make recommendations for aligning the organization's IT infrastructure and operations
Skills:
As the FX Coordination Manager, you will utilize your strong project management, communication, and leadership skills on a daily basis. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that all FX-related projects are completed successfully. Additionally, you will use your knowledge of emerging initiatives and technologies promoted by AHCA and make recommendations for aligning the organization's infrastructure and operations. Your ability to manage multiple projects and develop and implement IT policies and procedures will be critical to the success of this role.
