About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Provider Relations Account Executive to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. As a Provider Relations Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and servicing a robust and engaged provider network within an assigned geographic area. The Provider Relations Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with practitioners in their assigned geographic area through frequent communication and routine visits. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to secure and maintain practitioners’ engagement and focus on performance metrics that bring both ILS and the practitioners maximum value.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience as a health plan provider account representative or as a liaison to health plans working in a practitioner’s office/group
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the healthcare within the geographic area
- Established working relationships with practitioners
- Experience working with large healthcare providers or hospital systems
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with practitioners through high-touch communication
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business objectives
- Meet and exceed performance targets through effective account management and sales strategies
- Ensure high levels of provider satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support
