Fun Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) needed for young adult Male living independently in Newton, MA. 4
HOURS:
Tues & Weds: 9am to 2pm
Fridays: 12pm-10pm
Overnights: Mondays & Fridays 10pm-8am
Woods College BC student, 23 year old male with cerebral palsy looking for PCA’s to assist him in his apartment (directly across the street from the BC Chapel) over the course of the day and night.
Responsibilities include assistance with positioning in motorized wheelchair, personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding/drinking, and use of a hoyer lift, shower chair (training provided!). Assistance with assistive tech setup, light housekeeping, shopping, cooking and laundry. Escort to classes, school activities, appointments and therapies. Job responsibilities vary depending on the shift for which you are scheduled. Looking for fun and energetic companions who are interested in talking sports and attending lots of BC sporting events, as I am a BC super fan! Salary is $19.50/hour.
