Responsibilities:
- Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures on patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics.
- Utilize aseptic technique and follow proper protocols to ensure accurate and safe blood collection.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results.
- Follow laboratory procedures and protocols for specimen handling and processing.
- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring a comfortable and positive experience during blood collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection.
Experience:
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Mobile Phlebotomist or in a similar role.
- Proficient in clinical laboratory techniques, including blood sampling and specimen handling.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with different types of blood collection equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Phlebotomy Technician certification or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for mobile phlebotomy services.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and record keeping.
