Independent’s Service Company has an opening for a Customer Service Representative. If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service to Independent’s Service customers who are located throughout the US, please consider applying. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with some overtime required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent social and listening skills, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, good verbal, writing and spelling skills, and excellent telephone & email manners
Strong competence with basic math and measurement/conversion operations
College or Associate Degree
Desire & ability to be a team player
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under minimum supervision
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Strong ability to work with and create spreadsheets.
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Good keyboarding skills
Be able to politely & calmly handle customer complaints
Be able to work from 8-5 M-F, with some overtime required
The ability to work under deadlines & pressure
Be adaptable and able to learn new skills with proper training
Be able to handle large amounts of incoming emails and phone calls
