Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Independent's Service Company Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting large format graphics to various clients while ensuring exceptional customer service and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport large format graphics to clients.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license, yearly DOT Physical is required.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with loading and unloading freight safely is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial but not mandatory.
