Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERSI) and are provided to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position and to Certified employees with a .50 FTE or greater contract.

A master's degree with verification of completion of an approved program of graduate study in school guidance and counseling; and an Idaho State Pupil Personnel Certificate endorsed as a school counselor.
The School Counselor position is a professional position with the principal function to provide a comprehensive counseling program that will assist students, parents and staff in academic, personal, social and career planning.
The incumbent is responsible to utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, school counselors promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by developing, managing, delivering and assessing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students; performs related work as required.
Upon hire applicants are required to clear a criminal justice fingerprint and background check.
