Responsibilities
- Supports the duties of property management, including the completion of monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines.
- Assists in the inventory control process to account for property that is received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.
- Maintains Accountability System by entering information for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excessed property.
- Supports the physical inventory of assets and maintains supply chain management and chain of custody for all assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Assists in the acquisition, oversight, and tracking of hardware assets and materials, while providing the necessary activities for their operation and maintenance.
- Analyzes, models, and optimizes logistics capabilities using advanced software, covering aspects such as site location, resource allocation, inventory placement and size, transportation mode selection, freight consolidation, closed-loop tours, dedicated opportunities, and continuous moves.
- Collects, processes, and maintains data for analysis, while implementing, monitoring, and adjusting solutions as needed.
- Works on refining procedures for analysis and contributes to the development of internal analysis tools.
- Communicates effectively with various technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, vendors, team partners, and other staff members.
- High school diploma or GED is required. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is necessary; experience with MS Project is preferred.
- Candidates must have experience with large-scale enterprise IT contracts. - Availability to respond to after-hours requests is required in a 24/7 environment, as needed to meet program SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- An active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered for this role.
