What are the responsibilities and job description for the Display Fabricator position at Independents Graphic and Display?
Display Fabricator:
About Independents Graphic and Display
Independents serves as a giant toolbox for the marketing, advertising, and experiential display industry. We fabricate various displays and exhibits, for prominent world brands, that travel the country and provide interactive experiences for consumers at major sporting events, music festivals, trade shows, and other large-scale events. By combining nearly all aspects of the production and finishing process under one roof, we can take our clients’ vision from concept to reality.
Employees at Independents work as a team to complete projects in a fast-paced deadline driven business. Although a person is often hired based on a certain skill set, as a job shop, most employees are eventually cross- trained to accommodate fluctuating workloads and project types. Rarely do people do the same thing every day. We take pride in our work, and we have fun doing it. We are a group of adults who take responsibility for our work, deadlines, commitments, quality standards, and company reputation. We get along and we work as a team. In turn, our company is fair, flexible, and shares success with those who contribute.
We are currently looking to add a high-quality individual to our fabrication team. Welding and/or carpentry experience is preferred, but we are also able and willing to train the right person who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, familiar with tools, and likes to create. This is not a mundane jig-welding position, successful fabricators are to build from a conceptual picture (and drawings) with a creative approach to accomplish all critical aspects of form, function, and aesthetic.
