What are the responsibilities and job description for the NVH CAE Engineer position at InDepth Engineering Solutions, LLC?
Vehicle NVH CAE Engineer responsible for NVH CAE analysis of the full vehicle subsystems and components. Build trimmed body suspension and acoustics cavity models for simulation purposes. Perform normal modes frequency response transient and acoustics analyses to identify issues and resolutions. Develop design solutions to address NVH issues. Work closely with vehicle development NVH lab & design teams to identify and resolve issues and optimize the structure for weight / cost. Perform transfer path analysis to root cause dominant paths and contributions to NVH performance issues.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong NVH acoustics and virtual analysis background to access performance optimize NVH ride and handling
Preferred Qualifications :
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in chassis / suspension design and functionality
Experience using Nastran / OptiStruct
