Position Title: Senior Agile Scrum Master
Location: Hybrid remote in Springfield, VA. 1 day per week to visit with our client, possibly 2 depeding on the project.
Position Overview: Indev is currently seeking an experienced Senior Agile Scrum Master to support one of our TSA customers in the Washington D.C. Area. The TSA office seeks to expand its use of Salesforce to improve efficiency, reduce costs, speed up closing out redress cases, and produce dashboards for stakeholders. Some key features of the Salesforce system include electronic case submission, front end user portal, and integrations with Login.gov, OKTA and other downstream TSA systems. The Senior Agile Scrum Master would lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies with the development team and stakeholders using the Scrum framework to help support and produce project deliverables, which include Sprint Review reports, monthly status reports, and capturing and communicating project metrics.
This is a fast-paced, demanding environment with access to senior client leadership, so the Senior Agile Scrum Master must be comfortable interacting with and advising government stakeholders across multiple levels. Candidate must live in the greater DMV area for occasional onsite government work and meetings in Springfield, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Work closely with Salesforce administrators and developers to create and maintain a backlog focused on solving customer challenges with Salesforce solutions.
- Facilitate all Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand Up).
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate discussions, drive decision making, and support conflict resolution.
- Lead and support Product Owners in ensuring business requirements are well refined and meet development team's Definition of Ready.
- Work together with lead business analyst to support Release Planning.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums to create transparency into team health, progress, and challenges.
- Utilize Agile metrics as information radiators to provide transparency into and drive insights around team performance.
- Effectively monitor and communicate team status/progress to key stakeholders.
- Resolve any impediments to ensure the development team stays on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement through creating psychological safety, promoting self- organization, managing team morale, and experimenting with new practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States.
- 8 years’ of practical/on the job experience as a Agile Scrum Master guiding teams through Agile practices and values with cloud-based platforms (Salesforce, Azure, AWS, etc.), 3 years of which were supporting Federal IT projects.
- Ability to coach the team to higher levels of scrum maturity.
- Ability to remove impediments by identifying the right resources and pushing issues to resolution.
- Ability to guide design and development efforts to ensure build plans, Sprint plans, and any other required deliverables are ready on time.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely among stakeholders and team members to facilitate the definition, prioritization, and approval of work items for the team.
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira experience is a plus).
- Experience supporting the full SDLC, from initial discovery and feature decomposition, through delivery and deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Certified Scrum Master from PMI or equivalent.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- An ideal candidate has served as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master on a large Salesforce implementation.
- Ability to perform simple Salesforce configuration changes.
- Certifications supporting project management or Agile practices, such as PMI PMP/ACP, CSM, CSPO, etc.
- Experience working with Federal agencies
- Currently or previously held a DHS Public Trust clearance
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation. Current or previous DHS Public Trust clearance preferred.
