Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Material Handler to join our team at our Salley, S.C. location. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, pole trucks, and clamp trucks while ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of machinery, including forklifts, pole trucks, and clamp trucks
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies
- Coordinate shipments and transfers of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials
- Work efficiently and effectively with other divisions within INDEVCO Group
- Continuously improve processes as an individual and as a team member
Requirements:
- Basic computer and math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift, pole truck, and clamp truck operations
- Ability to learn and apply new information and technology
- Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Team player with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to sit or stand for long periods
- Available for shiftwork, including evenings and overnights
