Index Analytics, LLC, is a rapidly growing Baltimore-based small business providing health related consulting services to the federal government. The Data Analyst will develop data analytics related reports as needed, including the use of common business intelligence tools and SQL. The successful candidate will also provide Help Desk ticket support to users related to analytics reporting and SQL. The primary environment for this work will be a Snowflake data warehouse and the resource will frequently program in Python and SQL, often using notebooks as implemented in Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Develop data analytics applications using generative AI when appropriate.
- Develop SQL scripts using generative AI when appropriate.
- Assist with application testing.
- Work on Help Desk tickets as assigned.
- Perform work in an Agile environment.
- Attend daily standup meetings, provide status on work, meet deadlines for tasks assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of experience performing data analyst functions using at least 1 technology from below:
- SQL
- Snowflake
- Python
- Any Business Intelligence tool, such as BusinessObjects, Microstrategy, Tableau
- Prefer some exposure to AWS.
- Prefer some exposure to Agile software development.
The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions. Index complements its base salary offering with a competitive package that includes health and retirement benefits, discretionary bonuses, and reimbursement for professional development opportunities.
