Job Overview
Index Analytics is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Senior Tester will support the testing of an enterprise environment for a cloud-based platform. The enterprise instance will act as a portal that will allow users to access applications on the platform.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing duties as a member of one or more SAFe Agile teams.
- Design test cases, approaches, and plans. Write test procedures for conducting tests following Product Owner guidance.
- Build and execute manual and automated test scripts in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Where applicable, utilize Generative-AI in the design and development of test cases and scripts.
- Log and communicate test results to the team and assure defects are corrected prior to code promotion.
- Mentor other testers in test automation.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- 6 years of experience, including 3 years of testing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional work experience
- Prefer experience with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail.
- Prefer experience with SQL, Snowflake, Python, and BusinessObjects.
- Prefer test automation experience in an AWS cloud environment using one or more testing tools.
- Require experience in manual testing
- Experience logging, reporting, and maintaining test results.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Prefer experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services.
The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
