Responsible for helping your co-workers and other staff at Warm Springs Gaming Enterprise to provide each of our guests a pleasant, enjoyable and special experience. The Tule Grill Attendant is responsible for the preparation and sale of all food being served to our snack bar customers. This position maintains order and cleanliness within the snack bar and provides courteous service to all our valued customers.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellence in both product and service.
- Food and beverage preparation.
- Personal appearance.
- Courtesy and friendliness.
- Gives special attention to financial responsibility.
- Understand the functions and capabilities of the cash register.
- Follow cash handling responsibilities as established within the Policy and Procedures.
- Maintain and clean all food and beverage equipment within the Tule Grill (before, during and after any designated shift).
- Follow proper food handling procedures and health regulations.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Able to speak, understand and read English.
- Dependability and ability to work efficiently.
- Must be neat, clean and personable.
- Food Handlers Certification required.
- OLCC permit
Competencies:
- Excellent communications skills are essential. This includes verbal, written and listening skills.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting and carrying is required. Lifting items weighing as much as 60 pounds may be required.
- This position requires reaching, manipulating and keyboard operation (typing).
- This position requires sitting, stooping, standing, bending and walking.
- This position requires intense and exacting mental and visual attention.
Working Conditions:
- This job is typically performed under reasonably good working conditions; disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal job performance. The position requires working in areas where the noise level is high, working with sharp objects and where there are high temperatures while performing intense, complex and very involved tasks at a fast pace.
- Must observe and comply with all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of any and all safety equipment provided. Must practice safety at all times.
- Must work safely with a variety of tools and equipment, including but not limited to knives, choppers, blenders, band saws, meat grinders, deep fryers, griddles, till fryers, toasters, scales, Carter Hoffman, can openers, range tops, broilers, coffee machines, convection ovens, steam tables and various refrigerators and freezers.
Attendance: Regular work attendance by employees is a part of their contribution to the successful operation of IHC. A good attendance record is a vital part of the employee’s permanent personnel record. Employees are required to report to work punctually, as scheduled, and to work all scheduled hours including any required overtime.
Safety: It is the obligation of employees to observe the safety regulations, to use the safety equipment provided to them and to practice safety at all times. It is our policy to provide safe working conditions for all employees, to provide instructions covering safe working methods, and to make available special equipment required to protect employees against particular hazards. Your supervisor will provide you with information regarding safety rules that pertain to your department.
Special Requirements:
- Food Handlers Certification required.
- OLCC service permit required.
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License
