What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at INDIAN HEALTH CARE RESOURCE CENTER?
We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our growing team. The Facility Technician is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position will serve as the back-up in absence of the Facilities Manager and drivers as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Will be acting Facilities Manager in absence of Facilities Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to open and close building as needed, control heat and air as needed.
- During operating hours, respond to building alarms as needed.
- Will back up transportation schedule as needed when other drivers are out.
- Maintains lawn and landscape as directed. Maintain building equipment as directed.
- Configure meeting room furniture as directed.
- Helps monitor maintenance for assigned vehicle.
- Will assist in housekeeping and janitorial duties in absence of housekeeping staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Certificate in Facility Management preferred. Pesticide application license preferred.
- 2 year’s similar facilities experience.
- Basic familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical systems, construction systems preferred.
- Must possess a current and valid Oklahoma Driver’s License. Clean driving record. Current liability insurance policy.
- Basic computer skills. Must be organized, detail oriented, self-starter.
