The incumbent will provide intensive therapeutic services, consultation, and support to patients at Chemawa Indian Health Center in substance abuse, addictions, and co-occurring disorders (prevention, treatment, and aftercare). The position is located at the Western Oregon Service Unit (WOSU), Salem Oregon.
Duties
- Provides direct and comprehensive primary and psychiatric nursing care to patients.
- Orders laboratory tests as necessary to assure an accurate diagnosis.
- Prescribes medications to treat specific illnesses.
- Education patient and family members ways to maintain and improve mental health status.

Successfully completed a graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program.
