Dental Assistant

• Assist dentist and hygienist during patient procedures and treatments.
• Prepare instruments and dental materials; sterilize equipment.
• Take and develop x-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and dental hygiene practices.
• Greet and check-in patients, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure all paperwork is complete.
• Verify insurance details, process billing and payments, and handle patient inquiries via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with office administration tasks as needed.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications : Qualifications :
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification and BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience as a dental assistant and / or receptionist preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
• Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
• Valid MT Driver's License and clean driving record
