Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.

The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements. If privileges are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee will be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from Federal service.

Basic Requirement(s)
EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Social Work - must fulfill all of the requirements for the Master's Degree in Social Work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Transcripts must be submitted with your application to verify that education requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector. Examples include ability to diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families and groups of people with acute and chronic mental health problems and substance abuse disorders; knowledge of social implications of problems of human behavior, adjustment, and mental illness.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Applicant must possess a current, unrestricted license U.S. State license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW) or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
