Type: Tribal Salary Range: $43,645 to $65,467 / Per Year Open Period: 11/17/2014 to 11/17/2015 Summary: Establish and maintain an effective Compliance and Integrity Program including health information privacy and security policies for Jemez Health and Human Services (JHHS). Duties: 1. Establish and maintain an effective Compliance and Integrity Program including health information privacy and security policies. 2. Conduct investigations of alleged violations of law, standards of conduct, or any other system policies and procedures. 3. Implement, document, and maintain a coordinated legislative and regulatory Compliance Program. 4. Coordinate trainings for employees to ensure knowledge of legislative and regulatory issues and requirements including health information privacy and security policies and procedures to perform their duties in a lawful and ethical manner. 5. Conduct periodic reviews to assess adherence to Compliance Plan and addresses issues/problems identified in an audit assessment. 6. Develop a Risk Matrix and Assessment Tool that identify risk areas with an assessment, action plan, and requisite managers. 7. Develop projects and proposals to educate the healthcare community concerning requirements related to the privacy and security of individually identifiable health information. 8. Promote compliance with the requirements of privacy and security policies regarding individually identifiable health information. 9. Prepare reports, briefing, policy options, or other materials for use by JHHS managers. 10. Consult and coordinate with JHHS Director and Health Board regarding compliance, health information, and risk management processes and activities. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in healthcare, public, or business administration, or other related business functional areas. Must have one year of specialized experience. Specialized Experience: Progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical managerial, or supervisory experience in the healthcare field. This work may have been performed in an operating healthcare facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. Work must have involved close working relationships with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following:
