•Bachelors or Associates degree in Laboratory Science required
•Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); or be registry eligible
•Must be Board certified within 12 months of employment
•Must be licensed or have a provisional license, by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice
•Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications
•May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
•An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment Qualifications:
•Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
•Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing
•Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met
•Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise
•Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving
