Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant– Full-time Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures. Assists medical staff in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care. Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. Recognizes abnormal findings and treats or refers to physician for further evaluation and/or treatment. Provides education to patients and families. Prepares comprehensive patient care plan with physician and other health professionals. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment. Patient care will have an emphasis on chronic health issues.
