Responsible for providing an array of clinical services for clients within Behavioral Health Programs. General responsibilities including assessment, person centered planning, monitoring, and advocacy regarding the needs of individuals and/or families. Will provide culturally appropriate clinical services to individuals, families and groups with various co-occurring disorders and age groups. Must be willing to work a flexible/adaptable schedule as meets the needs of the program and clients served. Must work cooperatively with professionals and paraprofessionals while utilizing local and tribal resources. Must be willing to participate in cultural and community events and activities on a regular basis. Duties: ? Conduct psychosocial assessments, coordinate, monitor, evaluate and advocate for appropriate services. ? Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients and their families. ? Carry an active caseload of individual, family and/or group clients in order to meet assigned productivity level. ? Develop appropriate person-centered treatment plan to address the client’s current psychosocial, mental health and substance use issues. ? Monitors and evaluates client treatment progress according to measurable and date-specific goals and objectives stated in client’s treatment plan. ? Timely completion of assessments, treatment plan reviews and discharge summaries to ethically manage the beginning, middle, and end phases of therapy. ? Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy. ? Demonstrate the utilization of appropriate Evidence Based Practices in the treatment of clients. ? Provide treatment in other modalities, such as Intensive Outpatient, RTC groups, etc., as assigned by supervisor. ? Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other service providers. ? Communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well being an effective public speaker. ? Complete documentation in accordance with policies and procedures. ? Participate as an active member of the Saginaw Chippewa Behavioral Health Crisis/On-call Team. ? Meet with clients in other treatment facilities, detention facilities as deemed appropriate by supervisor. ? Member of clinical team that meets weekly in order to present cases for clinical feedback and direction. ? An active learner and supporter of Anishanbek culture and traditions. ? Meet with assigned supervisor for regular supervision. ? Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent in Human Services related field. Full Licensure is preferred. Limited licensed individuals who can obtain licensure within two years from date of hire are encouraged to apply. Must have a minimum of one year demonstrated co-occurring therapy experience with adults, youth, children and families. Must have good computer skills for paperwork and documentation purposes. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for tribal driver’s license. Must have background check completed through the appropriate tribal departments.
