Duties: The primary purpose of the School Social Worker is to identify and assist eligible Tribal students, families, and the Chiloquin School System/Chiloquin Head Start to overcome barriers that interfere with learning through the use of assessment, counseling, and consultation, coordination of school and community resources, and program development. Services will be provided by Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services in homes, schools, clinics, alternate job sites and other community locations within the Klamath Tribes’ Service Unit. Qualifications: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology or a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, and/or Couples and Family Therapy. Appropriate independent licensure is REQUIRED. Must submit copy of degree or transcripts with application. Must possess and maintain an Oregon independent license as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist is REQUIRED. Out of state professionals must be able to acquire an Oregon License within six months of hire. Must submit copy of licensure with application. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience is REQUIRED. Clinical practicum, internship, and post-graduate supervised training may count toward requirement.
