Assist the Department Chairperson in the operation of the Academic Success Centers, Disability Services, RISE, and Testing Services for the Ottumwa and Centerville Campuses. Train and supervise student workers.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Post-secondary training required, associate’s degree preferred.
- One year minimum relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting or bookkeeping practices helpful.
- Competent in operation of basic office machines and knowledge of computer applications.
- The ability to develop and maintain databases is desired.
Work Performed
- Assist the Department Chairperson with coordinating and reporting for all service areas (Academic Success Centers, Disability Services, RISE, and Testing Services for the Ottumwa and Centerville Campuses).
- Produce memos, letters, purchase orders, invoices, reports and other written materials.
- Create sections in Datatel.
- Maintain supplies and order materials.
- Assist with federal and state reporting.
- Train and supervise student workers.
- Connect students with useful college resources.
- Cooperate as a team member of the Academic Resources Department by performing any duties essential to efficient operations.
- Answer telephones, transfer calls, and relay messages
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance at work.
- Other duties as assigned.
