As the Wellness Director at Indian Hills Country Club, you will lead our wellness initiatives and fitness programs, ensuring our members achieve their health goals. This role is vital in fostering a culture of health and well-being within our community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs tailored to member needs.
- Educate members on health, fitness, and nutrition through workshops and one-on-one sessions.
- Design personalized training programs that promote physical fitness and well-being.
- Oversee group fitness classes and ensure high-quality instruction.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance member engagement in wellness activities.
- Monitor progress of members participating in wellness programs and adjust plans as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continually improve wellness offerings.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages member participation in health initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in personal training or wellness program management.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to fitness training.
- Excellent communication skills for educating members effectively.
- Ability to design engaging fitness programs for diverse groups.
- Experience in group fitness instruction is highly desirable.
- Background in sports coaching or related fields is a plus but not required.
