Job Summary:

Outside services staff will provide exceptional service to members and guests by managing golf cart, push-cart, and bag room operations ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience. This role involves preparing and maintaining golf carts, assisting with the check-in and storage of members clubs and bags, practice facilities set-up, daily maintenance and cleanup and offering friendly assistance to golfers on the course. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include ensuring carts are clean and ready for use, coordinating with the golf shop staff and outside services staff, and interacting positively with members and guests to enhance their overall great golfing experience at the club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain golf carts, push carts, and club storage, ensuring they are clean, and in excellent condition for member use.
• Assist members and guests with the check-in and storage of their golf bags and equipment, ensuring a seamless transition to and from the course.
• Provide friendly and attentive service, answering questions and assisting golfers with any needs related to carts or equipment during their time on the course.
• Monitor the flow of carts on the course and manage their return to the staging area to maintain efficiency and minimize wait times.
• Collaborate with the golf shop and outdoor services staff to coordinate tee times and ensure that all equipment is readily available for members.
• Conduct routine inspections of golf carts and push carts and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
• Uphold the country club's standards of cleanliness and organization in all cart storage and staging areas.
• Assist with special events, tournaments, or member activities as needed, providing support to enhance the overall experience for participants.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of golf operations and equipment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy golf bags and equipment as needed.

Education:

• High School Diploma or current High School student

Experience:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous golf course experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• Part time
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
