Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping with basic kitchen tasks.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
