JOB DESCRIPTION: Gifted and Talented Teacher
POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Gifted and Talented Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, rigorous, and differentiated instruction to meet the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of gifted students. This educator will cultivate a challenging and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to use effective differentiation strategies; strong content and pedagogical knowledge; A strong understanding of the cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs of gifted students—including those from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds; ability to use time effectively; good organizational skills; ability to maintain a positive relationship with other staff by collaborating and working cooperatively with them (including supervisors); knowledge of physiological, psychological, emotional, and educational behavioral development of children and/or adolescents; ability and desire to integrate innovative instructional practices.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a Gifted and Talented Teacher.
Work Experience: Experience as an elementary teacher is preferred.

Salary : $47,500 - $79,296
