Description: Perform functions to provide District representation at IEP conferences for students place in out-of-district placements. Coordinate and collaborate with facilities, transportation providers, and parents to ensure that IEP conferences, students’ status, and transportation are handled effectively and adhere to federal and state law guidelines. This is a part-time position .6 FTE position.

• Schedule annual reviews and other IEP conferences for students in out-of District placements.

• Act as the District 204 representative and facilitate all IEP conferences for students in out-of-District placements.

• Collaborate with administration and the special education support teams to ensure that placement in the least restrictive environment is maintained and facilitate any appropriate transition planning for a return to District 204.

• Collaborate with transportation providers to resolve any identified issues.

• Maintain communication with parents and facilities regarding student's status and progress.

• Ensure that all evaluation and IEP documentation is secured and stored within the student's school student record..

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The qualified candidate will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with LBSI endorsement.
