Description: Perform duties to assist in the daily operations of the LMC and assist students and faculty with needs.
Job Summary:
1. Assist students and staff with researching, locating and selecting materials. Instruct students in the use of research software and online sites.
2. Monitor student behavior while in the LMC.
3. Coordinate, select and prepare books scheduled for team, classroom or LMC use.
4. Check in books and reshelf.
5. Assign work to and direct volunteers; student and parent.
6. Check out audiovisual equipment: maintain schedule, deliver and set up equipment, resolve routine technical difficulties and retrieve equipment as needed.
7. Prepare new materials for placement in LMC. Generate barcodes and spine labels. Assist in cataloging new materials.
8. Create and assemble bulletin board information as directed.
9. Clean and repair books.
10. Generate list of overdue books and prepare late notices. Collect late fees.
11. Generate LMC cards for new students.
12. Participate in year-end inventory of material collection and audiovisual equipment.
13. Provide general clerical assistance to LMC Director as needed.
14. Assist with special projects, school, and LMC events as directed.
15. Use personal computer, audiovisual equipment and general office equipment. Demonstrate proficiency using the technology and computer-based programs provided by the District. Use these programs to effectively manage and organize files, communication, records and databases.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a valid Educator License with Stipulations (PARA), Substitute License, or Professional Educator License.
