JOB TITLE : ReStore Dispatcher & Customer Service Representative
DEPARTMENT : ReStore
REPORTS TO : ReStore Operations Manager
OVERVIEW :
Represent the Habitat brand through courteous and professional interactions with potential donors and customers over the phone and in person to support our donation efforts, mission and Restore sales. This job will require time in the dispatch office as well as time working in other areas of the ReStore as assigned by the ReStore Manager or Assistant Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES :
- Answer phone calls for ReStore and direct calls to appropriate person or respond to donor or customer needs during dispatch hours. Respond timely to voice mail and email messages from customers and donors.
- Professionally resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely manner by conferring with the store manager or assistant manager.
- Coordinate and manage the most efficient routes, using our software to remain cost-effective as a mission. Combining routes and pick-ups based on location to eliminate unnecessary driving time and labor.
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of trucks to deliver fast and quality service.
- Support managers in scheduling and coordinating Deconstruction (DeCon) projects and providing project information to development and finance for donor acknowledgements and tax reporting.
- Maintain the customer Sales Tax Exemption Certificates along with updating the information in the customer database.
- Maintain and upkeep the customer database at the ReStore.
- Serve as a cashier as needed.
- Additional duties assigned by the ReStore Manager or assistant manager.
Requirements :
TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS :
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS : Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and must be a legal resident of the United States.
