QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include :
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Minimum of three years of full-time experience in IT, Software Development, Cybersecurity, or related field;
- Minimum 18 graduate semester hours in computer science;
- Ability to deliver high quality instruction in a range of Business courses;
- Willingness to make students active partners in the teaching / learning process;
- Strong student-orientation, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population;
- In-depth experience with Windows and Linux operating systems;
- Experience with C , C#, Java, Python programming languages preferable;
- Experience in one or more of the following computer related domains :
Computer networking / IT management
Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a college or other post-secondary institution setting;

b. instructing assigned classes,
c. grading all quizzes, tests, and written assignments,
d. assigning final grades.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
This position requires an ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and to present verbal lectures / demonstrations, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
