Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach science in our high school. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christ-centered education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview while inspiring students academically and spiritually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach science classes for high school students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and a passion for scientific exploration through a biblical perspective.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, academic standards, and a biblical worldview.
- Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to encourage spiritual growth and character development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation.
- Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one
- Experience teaching upper-level science courses to high school students in a classroom setting.
- Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School.
