Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach English and Language Arts in our middle and high school. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christ-centered education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview while inspiring students academically and spiritually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English and Language Arts classes for middle and high school students, fostering effective communication, and a love for literature and writing through a biblical perspective.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, academic standards, and a biblical worldview.
- Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to encourage spiritual growth and character development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation.
- Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one
- Experience teaching ELA courses to high school students in a classroom setting.
- Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School.
- A collaborative and supportive leader who exemplifies humility, drive, emotional intelligence, positivity, and unwavering loyalty to the IRCS vision and mission.
